Llama Beginnings

This vintage of Encuentro is a blend of two grapes that are very well-adapted to Tarija's high-altitude and climate, Malbec and Tannat. This is a well-balanced wine, with soft tannins and a fresh, fruit-forward palate.

We are currently out of stock but will receive more soon. In the meantime, be sure to try our La Curiosa Cabernet Sauvignon - another beautifully crafted red wine by an artisanal Bolivian winemaker.

This Malbec receives some noticeable benefits from Tarija's high altitudes and plentiful sun. This is a very easy to drink wine and can be enjoyed now, but will also benefit from some aging.

Campos de Solana's Tannat is well balanced and structured, with aromas of black cherries, blackberries and plums.

This vintage of Tri Tinto has an excellent mouthfeel and structure with soft tannins and a long finish. It is aged in oak for 15 months and has aromas of red and black fruits, notes of cassis, coffee and chocolate.
